pre-conference seminar
Proving You’re worth it!
MacDonald Hotel, Manchester
Wednesday 17th June 2009
This year’s Pre-Conference Seminar will provide a timely guide to tackling the challenges presented by the economic downturn. BIALL’s Professional Development committee are delighted to welcome speakers:
Victoria Jannetta, Head of Information Services, Field Fisher Waterhouse
Pamela Wolfsohn, Knowledge Services Manager, Nabarro
The aim of the seminar is to help delegates to prove their worth to their organisation, no matter what sector they work in. Our speakers will draw on their own experiences to look at:
- How to position your service within the organisation;
- How to prioritise your services when resources are limited;
- How to reposition your service to face the challenges of the future.
The seminar will include a mix of presentations and interactive sessions, encouraging delegates to explore the challenges they currently face in their organisations.
Registration for the seminar and lunch is from 13:00, with the seminar running from 14:00 - 17:15.
