How do I? wiki
What is the How Do I? wiki
The BIALL How Do I? wiki, which was launched during the Manchester conference in 2009, is a platform to save useful answers posted to the LIS-LAW email distribution list, and other useful information. It was set up by the PR & Promotions committee.
How can I access/use the wiki?
Navigating the BIALL How Do I? wiki is easy. Members can browse via broad subject headings (Legislation, Cases, Treaties), via the A-Z index or by searching the wiki. The wiki should be a useful tool for all BIALL members, but particularly for solo librarians who don’t have colleagues to bounce ideas off and to new starters to the profession who are just finding their feet.
Can I edit pages/add comments to the wiki?
To edit the wiki, you will first need to request access. To do this, go to the wiki homepage and click the "To join this workspace, request access" link at the top right of the screen. You request will then be approved by a member of the PR and Promotions Committee, and you will be able to start editing the wiki. Editing instructions are available on the wiki homepage.
The wiki is constantly evolving and developing so the PR and Promotions Committee would welcome any comments or suggestions. The full contact details of all the members of this committee are available on the committees pages.
