Awards & Bursaries
This Committee has two primary functions:
Bursaries:To work on behalf of Council to administer, co-ordinate and propose the award of all BIALL bursaries. The Committee is responsible for allocating bursaries for the BIALL Annual Conference and, where appropriate, for other BIALL events. The Committee also allocates funds to BIALL members for attendance at overseas legal information and library conferences including: AALL, ALLG/NZLL, CALL and IALL. Awards:To administer, on behalf of Council, annual, biennial, and ad hoc awards that recognise the achievements and contributions made by individuals and organisations to the Legal information profession.

Bursary applications now invited to attend the next JSI, to be held at Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne, 13-16 February 2013. The deadline for applications is 21st September 2012 and you can find more details on the Overseas Bursaries page.
