Nomination and adjudication processes
The Customer Relations Initiative Award is presented annually and the winners receive a certificate. The winning supplier / publisher may use the specially designed logo on their web-site in recognition of their achievements. The award is presented at the BIALL Annual Dinner which takes place at the Annual Conference. Nominations are invited in the spring of the award year through advertisements and via the BIALL website and e-mail list. Nominations are not accepted at other times.
The adjudication panel will consider criteria such as innovation and original initiatives as demonstrated by the nominated company. In addition the panel will judge on the evidence provided by the nominator(s) concerning responsiveness to the requirements of information professionals and resulting customer satisfaction. The relative size and resources of the supplier / publisher will also be taken into consideration at the adjudication stage.
The Award Committee, who adjudicate on the nominations, is composed of BIALL members representing many different sectors of the law library / legal information profession.
