The main function of this (maternity cover) role is to assist in the provision of a high quality library & information service to all Mills & Reeve partners and staff. The work will include enquiry handling, maintaining and updating internal databases, information retrieval, utilisation of electronic resources to provide awareness services, filing loose-leaf updates and other supplements, shelve and maintain book stock, record, circulate and shelve journals and processing of new stocks.

Key skills and experience:

  • Good research skills

  • Experience of using web-based databases and information resources

  • Experience of microsoft office tools

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Previous library experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
