Freelance Librarian - Wilberforce Chambers

Contract typePermanent
Closing date30 September 2016
Contact nameSophie Goodman

Wilberforce Chambers is a leading set of chancery and commercial barristers based in Lincoln’s Inn in central London. We currently have 65 members of Chambers in total: 30 QCs and 35 junior barristers.

Chambers is looking to engage the services of a freelance Librarian to take day-to-day responsibility for the effective delivery of all aspects of our internal central library service; both via our online and hard copy resources (loose-leaf filing is currently separately outsourced). In doing so, the post-holder will report to the Executive Director of Chambers and will act as secretary to our Library sub-committee.

The role itself is a part-time one and some flexibility on hours will be expected. We initially anticipate that the post-holder will be required to work a total of around 12 hours per week and will be expected to attend Chambers at least 2-3 times per week. A competitive rate of remuneration will be available for the right candidate.
