This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very prestigious, mid-size US law firm here in the City who require a fulltime, qualified librarian.
The successful candidate will be working within a friendly, professional, team based environment and be required to carry out standard legal research and company searches and the general provision of reference services to the London office's lawyers.
Librarian duties will include monitoring current awareness using databases such as Lexis, Westlaw, Bloomberg and RSS feeds. Librarians also assist with the production of legal news updates and liaise with US librarian staff on UK and European research queries.
A high level of customer service is essential for both external and internal clients. In addition the role will need excellent communication skills and good attention to detail.
Candidates will possess a solid career history, will have previous librarian research and reference experience within a city based US or UK law firm and any group or one-on- one end user training on various library services would also be highly advantageous.
